Alveromantia Issue 2: The Vast, Unmerciful Doom of VEILCASTE

Issue 2 of my metal fan art zine, Alveromantia, is out now! This issue focuses on Indianapolis based doom/sludge metal band VEILCASTE. They’re loud, they’re heavy, they’re….space-y. They are one of my all time favorite doom metal bands!
Founded in 2010, Veilcaste’s music has a mix of sci-fi themes, differentiating them from the standard fare of wizard doom metal. This zine contains 24 pages of “review and analysis” of their tone, the themes in their songs, and a poem by HP Lovecraft!
Also, I was fortunate to have my friend Billy McCall (www.iknowbilly.com) contribute to this zine.
copies of the zine are also available from the band themselves - if you’re able, but it from them and support this amazing. heavy, doomy, vast, unmerciful doom!
